It’s Here! My First Book "From Nice to Known" is Out in the Wild!

Hey everyone, it's crazy to say this, but my new book, From Nice to Known, is finally out! This book marks a significant new chapter in my life, and I couldn't be more excited to share it with you.

A year ago, I was lying in bed, healing from a kidney transplant. I had no idea what I was going to do during those twelve weeks of recovery. Little did I know, I had years of half-processed thoughts just waiting for the right moment to surface.

The Journey Begins

Back on February 23rd, 2011, I picked up a hardback edition of No More Mr. Nice Guy by Robert Glover. His deep dive into the mind and life of Mr. Nice Guy was like an internal diagnosis of my whole life. That book helped me see that I was indeed a Nice Guy in need of help.

Despite being a full-time pastor, I was so steeped in mental constraints that I couldn't fully embrace my life as an integrated man. Now, after years of trials, errors, and greater self-awareness, I felt compelled to put my spin on this message for the folks that only I could connect with.

Why I Wrote "From Nice to Known"

I've been writing and speaking about leading and living with integrity for years. Much of what I’ve learned, tested, and proved is in this book, but I was never able to say it so bluntly before. Looking around at men, especially those in the church, I realized this message—overcome people-pleasing—was an essential part of my life’s work.

During my recovery, I finally had the time and space to process and share this message with others. The tips and processes I lay out in From Nice to Known have already helped men from all over the country, from different cultures, and at different stages of life.

What You’ll Discover in "From Nice to Known

  • Why Nice Guys Finish Last.

  • My Personal Wake-Up Call. (It might be time for yours too!)

  • How to Embrace Your Authentic Self.

  • Tips for Establishing Boundaries.

  • How to Say “No.”

  • How to Get the Respect You’re Looking For.

From Nice to Known presents simple steps to break free from the mask of niceness and a path that will get you started on living authentically. The best part? Just about anyone can read this book in about an hour.

A New Chapter and a New Challenge

I mentioned earlier that this book opens an important chapter for me. This era of my life is all about taking more risks, betting on myself, and elevating my hustle so that my health and family can thrive. But it does more than that. It opens a new loop on another level—and this one involves you.

I'm confident that removing the lens of niceness is exactly the process you need to stop being resentful and start pursuing the life you want. Will you join me on this journey?
